Thanksgiving Shoot and Feast
Basic Firearms Safety Class. This class teaches beginners to safely handle, load & unload, store, and transport handguns as well as Mass. Firearms Laws, Tasers, Stun Guns, Pepper Spray and how to apply for your Mass. Firearms License.
Held in a classroom, this non-live-fire safety training is a prerequisite for a MA License to Carry (LTC) or Firearms Identification Card (FID). Saturday, September 13, 2025 9am-2:30PM Call Club‘s main number 978-774-9870 follow prompts to request a seat for class. Cost is $80 for club members and their immediate family members and $100 for non members. Only Cash or checks made out to Danvers Fish & Game accepted. Fee payable that day. .22 Rifle Military Target Shoot. The Shoot will consist of 10 shoots standing at 50 yards and 10 shots bench rest at 100 yards. You can use a spotting scope to track your shots.The target is a standard 100yard Military Type Target with an 18 inch scoring circle. The black bullseye is 6 1/2 inches with the 9,10 and X rings the outer 18 inches are the 8,7,6,5 scoring rings. Participates will fire their 10 rounds standing and then will fire their 10 rounds from the bench, the 20 rounds total hits will be scored. In case of a tie, there will be a 10 round offhand shoot off. Two classes- open sights and optics/red dots. Open to all members and their guests ages 12 years old and up.
