Indoor range
The NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course for Youths 12-20 and their Parents
Members will visit each range and take 10 shots (or casts) for a possible total of 80 points. All skill levels are welcome! Ranges will provide guns, ammo, rods, bows, etc. Participants are NOT allowed to use their own equipment. All participants MUST wear eye and ear protection at gun ranges.

If you are required to defend yourself on an innocent other with a gun you likely will be arrested and thus confronted by a second fight, the legal fight. Know your rights! Know what to say! Know what NOT to say.
Saturday May 16, 9am-finish
Any center fired rifle -any sights are allowed but optics are encouraged – 10 shots from the bench using rests at 100 yards
5 shooters per relay at $5.00 per relay, payable that morning- shooters may enter multiple relays
Registration starts at 9AM- shooters will be handed their targets and will place their name on them and indicate which relay and bench they want to shoot at followed by a Safety Briefing & Match Procedure Briefing and Match starts at 10AM.
Shooters will have 10 minutes to set up- set & adjust rests, spotting scopes, adjust shooting positions, etc; They will then lock actions open, insert chamber flag and stand behind the safety line. Range Officers will place the shooter’s targets at the 100 yard line.
Shooters will be given the command to begin; they will then fire their 10 shots.
Match is open to all members and their guests (limit of 2) If you wish to participate you must pre register yourself and any guests via the club’s events page. If you need help registering or have any questions, contact Ron Witten at rwwitten1@msn.com. Joe Torname will be the Match Director.

This event is a free to veterans and their families. Lunch will be served. Fishing gear will be provided but feel free to bring your favorite rod. Registration is mandatory.

Basic Firearms Safety Class. This class teaches beginners to safely handle, load & unload, store, and transport handguns and shoot firearms as well as Mass. Firearms Laws, Tasers, Stun Guns, Pepper Spray and how to apply for your Mass. Firearms License. This is a 8 hour class with live fire. This class is State Police approved and is needed to apply for your Mass. Firearms License. The cost is $200.00 for non-members (club members and immediate family, pay $180). Payment is due the morning of the class and only cash or checks made out to Danvers Fish & Game are accepted. The Live Fire part of the class maybe scheduled on other day. Class is limited to 6 students for more personal instruction.
What to bring: Long Pants, Water / Beverage, Lunch, Pen & Notebook, Close-toed Shoes.
What is Provided: Ammunition, Firearm, Targets, Ear & Eye Protection.
